A tree down on the Parkway East created restrictions for drivers Thursday.
Just after noon, PennDOT reported intermittent restrictions between the Wilkinsburg (Exit 78B) and Edgewood/Swissvale (Exit 77) interchanges in the westbound lanes.
PennDOT asked drivers to use caution if driving through the area or consider using an alternate route.
The restrictions were lifted about three hours later.
