In addition, Westmoreland County commissioners said one resident has died.

“Westmoreland Manor officials continue to make the care and safety of the residents and staff our highest priority as we continue remedial actions in response to the COVID-19 outbreak,” the commissioners said in a release.

The Pennsylvania National Guard was at the nursing home to help control the outbreak. The guard took over COVID-19 testing so the employees who aren’t quarantined can get back to caring for patients.
