PITTSBURGH — Westborough, Massachusetts-based BJ’s Wholesale Club announced its second planned location for the Pittsburgh region as part of a larger national rollout that will expand its footprint by six more clubs before the end of its fiscal year.
According to a company announcement, a new BJ’s Wholesale Club will open in Ross Township, though the company did not list a specific location in its release. The site will also include a BJ’s Gas station.
In October, a developer affiliated with the Block Northway presented plans to the Ross Township Hearing board for the establishment of a BJ’s Wholesale Club on a site along 495 Browns Lane which the board then approved.
“We’ve made great progress accelerating the pace of our new club openings in the last few years and we’re looking forward to opening six new locations this fiscal year,” Bill Werner, executive vice president, strategy and development at BJ’s Wholesale Club, said in the release. “We’re excited to bring the value and convenience of a BJ’s membership to more shoppers as we continue extending our reach across the Eastern United States.”
