Casper, the Macaroni Penguin, celebrates 31st birthday at Pittsburgh Zoo

PITTSBURGH — Sunday was the 31st birthday of Casper, the Macaroni Penguin!

To celebrate, Pittsburgh Zoo employees gave her a special birthday cake with smelt, capelin and herring.

Usually in the wild, Macaroni penguins live from 10 to 15 years. This makes Casper one of the oldest in the world!
