PITTSBURGH — The Steelers unveiled the newest addition to their Hall of Honor, celebrating the moment just a few months ago when Pittsburgh was the center of the football world.

The 2026 NFL Draft drew a record 800,000-plus fans to the city.
Thursday, Channel 11 got a look at the new exhibit at Acrisure Stadium, reflecting on that great draft.
Some of the exhibit highlights:
- A video montage of some of the best moments
- The iconic podium that was on the stage for the draft picks
- Pictures of all the draft cards from Mike McCarthy’s first draft class

The draft was about more than just football. Channel 11 sports director Jenna Harner asked Pittsburgh Mayor Corey O’Connor what it means to have the Hall of Honor celebrating this event.
“I mean, I think it’s iconic,” O’Connor said. “When you look around the hall, you see, obviously, the history of the Steelers and, you know, amazing moments that we all grew up either watching or got to see in person. But now you get to talk about not just football but about what this did for the community.”
The exhibit opens to fans Friday.
