PITTSBURGH — Pennsylvania State Police have issued another round of Covid-19 violations and warnings to local businesses between the dates of Jan. 22 through Jan. 24 amid a statewide effort to ensure businesses are enforcing social distancing, face mask coverings and other health and safety requirements of the liquor code during the pandemic.

According to its latest report, officers with the Pennsylvania State Police Liquor Control Enforcement issued two local violation notices relating to Covid-19 mitigation efforts throughout the Pittsburgh metro. It also issued two warnings relating to these efforts for Pittsburgh area businesses.

Over the same time period, state police issued 17 of these violation notices and 30 of these warnings to businesses throughout the commonwealth and in total completed 470 licensee checks during the three-day span.
