1 person in custody after police chase ends in crash in Swissvale

SWISSVALE, Pa. — One person was taken into custody after a police chase in Allegheny County.

Swissvale Police said they were called to a crash on Woodlawn Avenue on Sunday.

A vehicle involved in a police chase had crashed there.

The suspect in the vehicle ran away on foot but police were able to arrest them without incident.

Channel 11 has reached out to Allegheny County Courts to try to learn more and is waiting to hear back.
