PITTSBURGH — Blank Rome has hired a Jones Day partner in Pittsburgh and tapped him to co-chair its firmwide Construction & Infrastructure practice.
Tarek Abdalla came aboard as a partner in the Business Litigation group and Energy industry team, as well as Construction & Infrastructure. He co-chairs the latter with Patrick Harder, who recently joined Blank Rome and is based in its Los Angeles office.
“We are excited to welcome Tarek to our national Construction & Infrastructure practice,” Grant Palmer, Blank Rome chair and managing partner, said in a prepared statement. “Tarek brings exactly the kind of sophisticated construction and energy experience our clients need as they invest in increasingly complex infrastructure and energy projects. His ability to guide clients through every stage of a project — from development and execution to dispute avoidance and resolution — will be a tremendous asset.”
