BUTLER, Pa. — Butler County commissioners are taking their concerns over a U.S. trade policy straight to President Trump.
The commissioners sent a letter to him after the new owner of AK Steel said he may cut 1500 jobs at the plant, according to our partners at Butler Radio, because he wants stronger steel tariffs in place.

The plant is among the largest employers in the county, commissioners said.
Meanwhile, Congressman Mike Kelly has already spoken with the Secretary of Commerce about the impact of the trade policy and plans to meet with the U.S. trade representative.
