Commonplace Coffee relaunched its food program as Commonplace Kitchen.
The coffee chain was first founded in Indiana, Pennsylvania over 20 years ago but is now headquartered at a roastery in Larimer. Earlier this year, the coffee chain announced that it was taking over the former Georgie’s Corner Cafe location in Shadyside, and that it would move “a significant portion” of its commercial kitchen and bakery from Indiana to the location.
That space is now the home base for Commonplace Kitchen, a refreshed food program that extends across Commonplace’s several shops. The menu features baked goods and grab-and-go breakfast and lunch items made from scratch, including breakfast burritos and sandwiches.
