LIGONIER, Pa. — Cold temperatures didn’t stop people from walking around Ligonier this weekend and viewing the creative sculptures lining borough streets.
In fact, the mostly below-freezing weather was perfect for the borough’s annual Ice Fest.
Since Friday, more than 50 sculptures have adorned the borough’s diamond and lined the streets for everyone to enjoy.
On Saturday, visitors even got the chance to see some live carving demonstrations.
“It’s one of my favorite things to come and watch all the carvings get done. It’s amazing what these men can do with the talent that they have. It’s just awesome,” Jamie Price told Channel 11.
Ice Fest ends Sunday afternoon.
