SHALER TOWNSHIP, Pa. — A homicide investigation is underway after a man was found shot and killed in the woods in Shaler Township Thursday.

Allegheny County dispatchers said police were called to the 200 block of Hahn Road at 2:35 p.m. Thursday.
First responders on scene found the victim, a man, wearing multiple layers of clothes and a mask. The Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s Office has identified him as Andre Wallace, 45.
The medical examiner determined the man was shot in the head. It is being investigated as a homicide.
