Police investigating after 2 men, 1 teenage boy shot in McKees Rocks

MCKEES ROCKS, Pa. — Two men and a teenage boy were shot in McKees Rocks on Wednesday.

Allegheny County police said the shooting took place in the 1500 block of Chartiers Avenue at around 3:49 p.m.

The victims were found with non-life-threatening gunshot wounds to their extremities.

The victims were all taken to local hospitals and are expected to survive, police said.

Officials tell 11 News the investigation spanned several blocks. When our crews arrived, we saw Valley Street and Singer Avenue blocked off with crime scene tape.

What led to the gunfire and the connection between the three scenes is not clear at this time.

Allegheny County detectives are handling the investigation. Anyone with information concerning this incident is asked to call the County Police Tip Line 1-833-ALL-TIPS. Callers can remain anonymous.
