GREENSBURG, Pa. — A man accused of stalking his coworker, breaking into their home and threatening to rape them is in custody.
The Westmoreland County Sheriff’s Office said Taylor E. Foster, 33, of Greensburg, is behind bars after he was taken into custody at a Red Roof Inn after he was tracked down by the Fugitive Unit.
Authorities say he was charged after a person contacted the City of Latrobe Police Department and reported being stalked, threatened and harassed by Foster.
The victim told police Foster had grabbed them inappropriately on two separate occasions.
In one instance, police say the victim went to leave for work and found Foster standing in their garage; he then proceeded to back them into a wall before leaving through a side door.
This is not the last time police say Foster appeared at the victim’s home. In another instance, the victim was leaving for work when Foster tried to force entry into the home through a door, but the victim was able to get the door shut before this could happen.
Police reported a series of messages sent by Foster over Facebook, starting in April, that are described as “extremely sexually graphic, violent and threatening in nature.” Some of these messages, police say, described instances where Foster entered the victim’s house and sneaked out before being caught. Police say he also expressed an intention to rape the victim.
Foster is being held at the Westmoreland County Prison. Court documents show his bail has been set at $2,500, which he has been unable to post.
