MCKEES ROCKS, Pa. — The McKees Rocks Volunteer Fire Department is officially decertified after a decision from McKees Rocks borough.
The department posted on its Facebook page on Thursday that the borough chose to use Presston volunteer fire department in Stowe Township as their fire service.
According to the department, the decision goes into effect immediately.
McKees Rocks volunteer fire served the community for 40 years.
