CHALFANT, Pa. — A North Carolina woman was arrested after police said she stabbed a man in Chalfant over the weekend.
According to Allegheny County police, the stabbing happened in the 200 block of North Avenue at around 12:39 a.m. on Saturday.
Responding units found a man with a stab wound to the back at the scene.

The victim was taken to a local hospital in stable condition and has since been released.
During the course of the investigation, police learned that the stabbing happened during an altercation at the house on North Avenue.
Detectives arrested Alisa Turner, 50, in connection with the stabbing.
Turner is charged with aggravated assault and has been released after posting a $5,000 bond.
