PennDOT to host job fair in Allegheny County next week

O'HARA TOWNSHIP, Pa. — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation will host a job fair in Allegheny County on Thursday, Aug. 27, to fill open positions across the department.

The job fair will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at PennDOT’s Allegheny County Maintenance Office, located at 51 Fox Chapel Road in O’Hara Township. Commonwealth recruitment staff and hiring managers will be on-site to discuss current job opportunities with attendees.

Open positions available in Allegheny County include CDL drivers, diesel and automotive mechanics, tradesman helpers, tunnel maintainers and winter dispatchers.

Job seekers attending the event can access application assistance, take road tests, participate in interviews and potentially receive conditional offers for certain job titles. Attendees are required to bring two forms of identification.
