Pickup truck hits pole, brings down wires in Shaler Township

SHALER TOWNSHIP, Pa. — A road in Shaler is expected to be closed for hours after a crash brought down a pole and wires early Friday morning.

Police said they got a call around 1 a.m. about the crash along Soose Road.

Shaler police chief Sean Frank said that no one was hurt and no one was arrested.

Frank said Soose Road was closed between Wible Run Road and Venice Drive as crews made repairs. Shaler Township Police said the road was reopened at 11 a.m.
