Ross Park Mall to host 40th anniversary celebration

ROSS TOWNSHIP, Pa. — Ross Park Mall in Pittsburgh will host a public celebration for its 40th anniversary this Saturday.

The free event will take place from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. in the center court of the mall.

The event marks four decades of the shopping center serving the Pittsburgh community. The afternoon schedule includes live entertainment, a historical display and promotional offers from participating mall retailers.

Entertainment during the event will feature performances by aerialists, dancers and music from a live DJ. A fashion showcase will also highlight clothing trends from the past four decades.

Attendees can view a retrospective timeline outlining historical milestones from the mall’s 40 years in operation. The event will also feature an interactive photo area titled “40 & Fabulous,” alongside special anniversary promotions offered by individual stores.
