The closure allowed members of Carmen Paliotta Contracting to replace the Pine Creek South Branch Bridge No. 6. New pavement, pavement markings, signage and guide rails were also added.

The project cost $1.4 million.

The road was closed between Morewood Road and Sunnyfield Drive.

Plans for the project began in 2013.
