PITTSBURGH — A water main break overnight at Chartiers Avenue and Steuben Street buckled the roadway, disrupting traffic and leaving approximately 32 customers without service.
Traffic closures are in place at the intersections of Steuben Street and Amherst Street, Steuben Street and Wabash Street and Chartiers Avenue and Finch Street.
Local first responders and the Port Authority have been notified of the traffic disruptions.
Pittsburgh Water crews and contractors have been working through the night to fully uncover the leak and make repairs.
Water line repairs are expected to be finished later this morning, though the road will remain closed until repairs are made.
