WESTMORELAND COUNTY, Pa. — Dilapidated houses in Westmoreland County could soon be demoed and reused with help from the county’s COVID-19 relief funds.
County commissioners voted Thursday to approve a $25 million spending plan that will distribute funding to some of the county projects that need it most.
$10.4 million will go to the county redevelopment authority and land bank to help tackle blight in seven of the hardest hit communities, such as Monessen Jeannette, New Kensington, Arnold, Vandergrift, Greensburg and Penn Borough.
