CONWAY, Ark. — On Thanksgiving, many dogs wait longingly by the table in hopes that someone will drop a slice of turkey. But one pooch in Arkansas apparently had much bigger plans.
According to KTTV and WTSP, driver Jenny Jones was near Round Mountain last week when she spotted a brown dog in the road with his own holiday feast – an entire frozen turkey.

An amused Jones quickly stopped, took a photo and later shared it on Facebook.
"Momma I'm coming home & I got us a Turkey!!!!" she wrote Monday. "Anyone Missing their Turkey today? Things you see on Round Mtn. – and of course I waited until this beautiful dog and his frozen turkey were safely across the road."

Jones' friend, Kathy Wyrick, also posted the picture, which quickly went viral. By Sunday morning, it had racked up more than 8,600 shares and nearly 500 comments.
"Looks thawed, maybe he's had it a while lol," one Facebook user wrote.
"This dog had the right idea," added another.
