Dry weather ends with showers, storms possible on Thursday

PITTSBURGH — Scattered showers and a few storms could disrupt your plans Thursday, especially during the morning and off and on through early afternoon.

Heavy rain will be the primary threat with any storm that develops, but gusty winds are also possible.

Rain will taper off by the afternoon, with clouds slowly fading through the evening.

Friday will look and feel much better with a mix of clouds and sunshine and less humid conditions. The weekend starts dry, but showers and storms return late Saturday and continue off and on through Sunday.
