MILLVALE, Pa. — Concrete fell from an overpass in Millvale, causing a closure in the community.
According to the Millvale Borough Police Department, the concrete fell from the overpass at the entrance to Millvale Riverfront.
Police called Norfolk Southern to assess the damage. Norfolk Southern said they do not own the overpass but operate two tracks at the at-grade crossing adjacent to the overpass.
Authorities will check the integrity of the overpass.
Drivers are asked to enter the Riverfront through what is usually its exit.
