Court documents said the alleged victim, who is 17, was an employee of Halle’s at an outreach center in Butler.

On April 27, police were called to an area near the victim’s home after a concerned citizen reported that Halle and the victim were sitting on a street curb being intimate.

One of those neighbors, who didn’t want to be identified, said she saw the pair.

“My daughter knows her from school and said, ‘Mom, that is not her father she’s sitting with out there,’” the neighbor said. “They were sitting very close to each other. They were touching each other’s arms, giggling, laughing, just talking. Kind of too close for comfort.”

According to the criminal complaint, Halle sexually assaulted the teen at the Net Outreach Center in downtown Butler. Detectives said the girl worked at Halle’s cafe inside the youth center. That’s also where he ran his nonprofit.

The affidavit went on to say the girl admitted to having sex with Halle.

Halle resigned from the school board shortly after the allegations surfaced.

The Butler County DA told Channel 11 Halle plans to turn himself in sometime this week.
