Kennywood ranked among 10 best amusement parks in the nation

WEST MIFFLIN, Pa. — Kennywood has been voted among the top 10 best amusement parks in America.

A poll conducted by USA Today placed Kennywood in the 9th spot on the list.

The Phantom’s Revenge was voted as the 8th best rollercoaster in the United States on a separate list.

A panel of experts selects nominations for the top 10 list and readers can then vote.

Votes were made once per day and once per category.

Kennywood also announced it will be extending its hours. The park will close at 8 p.m. starting Saturday.
