Motorcyclist seriously injured after colliding with vehicle in Pittsburgh

PITTSBURGH — A motorcyclist was involved in a crash Saturday in Pittsburgh.

First responders were sent to West Carson Street near Station Square at 3:45 p.m., according to the Pittsburgh Public Safety Department.

A man riding a motorcycle reportedly collided with a vehicle doing an illegal U-turn.

Medics took the man to the hospital with serious injuries.

The vehicle’s driver stayed on scene, but will be cited for the crash, officials say.

A Channel 11 photographer saw an SUV being towed away and a motorcycle lying next to the roadway.
