Person flown to hospital after being hit by car in Washington County

SOUTH FRANKLIN TOWNSHIP, Pa. — A person was flown to a hospital after they were hit by a car in Washington County on Friday morning.

The crash happened on Park Avenue at the intersection of Lagonda Road in South Franklin Township at around 5:46 a.m.

Washington County 911 dispatchers confirmed the person who was hit was flown to a Pittsburgh hospital. Their condition is currently unknown.

Channel 11 has reached out to Pennsylvania State Police for more information.
