PITTSBURGH — Just one chance is all it takes to get people in line hoping to hit the 1.2 billion dollar Powerball jackpot drawing tonight.
“You don’t have much of a chance if you don’t play,” said Richard Weigold from Greensburg.
Mary Casper of Gateway Convenience Store has seen a steady stream of people since no one hit Monday and said it’s not all regulars getting in on the gamble.
“They’re coming in and they’re like you know when I win, just remember I’ll come back and see you. And we say I hope you win,” said Casper.
“I don’t always put the Powerball or the Mega Millions but when the Jackpot does get high, it’s tempting,” said Randy Guhl.
If someone hits tonight, it will be the second-largest Powerball jackpot in its 30-year history.
The winning numbers are: 22, 11, 60, 2, 35. The red Powerball is 23 and the Power Play is 2x.
