PITTSBURGH — The beloved Shamrock Shake is back at McDonald’s across the Pittsburgh region, and a portion of each sale will help support families in need.
From Feb. 10 to March 23, 25 cents from each Shamrock Shake sold in the Pittsburgh area will be donated directly to Ronald McDonald House Charities of Pittsburgh and Morgantown.
McDonald’s is hoping to raise $5 million across the country, which would provide overnight stays for families staying at RMHC programs.
RMHC chapters provide care, comfort and support to families, allowing them to heal together while their child receives medical care. Included in these efforts are the Ronald McDonald Houses which provide families a place to stay while their child receives care at a nearby medical facility.
