According to court documents, police used surveillance video from the Pittsburgh Housing Authority to help make an arrest.

Police say there were two shooters. They used video recorded at a convenience store to identify one suspect. Through investigating they learned the first suspect had allegedly been in contact with Jason Ingram while he was in jail.

Investigators got a photo of Ingram and learned his height and weight. Detectives say the photo of Ingram matched the image of the person recorded at the shooting scene.

Police bodycam video of Ingram recorded during the last time he was arrested was also used in the investigation and police say that video also matched the description of one of the suspects involved in the deadly shooting on Arlington Avenue.

Surveillance video photos were also sent to a separate officer and police say that the officer was able to identify Ingram, based on his prior interactions with him. He had been released from jail in April.

Police say Ingram’s fingerprints were also found inside a Lincoln MKT that was found at the crime scene.

Ingram is facing several charges, including criminal homicide, criminal attempt - criminal homicide, conspiracy and aggravated assault.

Ingram was taken to the Allegheny County Jail and awaits a preliminary hearing.
