The threat for showers and storms could disrupt your weekend plans, but the weekend will not be a complete washout.
Near record warmth will end the week with highs in the upper 70s, not far from the record high of 79 set in 1990.
Morning temperatures in the 30s will rebound into the 60s by the afternoon, with areas south of Pittsburgh likely reaching the 70s.
Many of us will be suffering from spring fever this week with highs in the 60s most of the week and barely a drop of rain through Friday.
The next fast-moving system will bring snow showers tonight, with some heavier bands possible north of Pittsburgh.
Colder air has wrapped in behind our storm system, sending temperatures into the 30s across much the area this morning.
Temperatures will fall nearly 30 degrees by early Thursday morning, so dress for the winter chill. Gusty winds will make it feel even colder, with wind chills in the upper teens to 20s at the bus stop.
